After tweaking the equalizer and gain on a project I export the song. Unfortunately, the song sounds like none of the settings have stuck when I play it in iTunes. The equalizer settings in iTunes are off. The auto-normalize feature has been turned on; if I turn it off the exported song is full of distortion.

What I have now in Garageband: Project, tweaked equalizer, increased gain and auto-normalize on.
Result: Sounds great.

What I want: Export the project and having it sound very similar to what it sounds like in garageband. Don't care about the filetype, uncompressed, mp3, w/e.

How should I go about this? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

(MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10), Garageband 10.0.3)
