Do you guys know why apple watches have different booting screens?

Sometimes it's a big Apple with shades, sometimes it is a small apple with no shades, just solid white?

watchOS 1 had the gradient logo, while watchOS 2 has the flat white.

Thanks. That cleared it up for me. For a moment, I thought something was wrong with the display.

I set up watches yesterday for my girlfriend and myself. Hers had the white logo and mine had the gradient logo. I thought it was because mine needed to be charged, but as otozuz pointed out, hers was on WatchOS 2 and mine was on 1.
