I'm new to this forum, so please forgive me if I have posted this in the wrong area.
I have a Macbook Pro running Mountain Lion to which I managed to install a Virtual Machine of Windows 7.1 using Parallels Desktop. I have a Windows only Numerology program that runs fine and it's output (files) appears fine in the Windows environment, but once I save a report to Desktop and open it with Word there is a certain .png file missing from the saved file output. I found the .png files (there are 13 of them used in this program - not all at once, just one per each file (report) created depending on which .png file is required.
Since I found each of the needed .png files, I copied and saved them to my ML desktop. Is there a way to find out where they should be stored for Word to realise that they are available - and in turn, Word will show them in the reports instead of me having to copy and paste whatever .png file is needed for each report that I do.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
