Since upgrading to Mac OS Mojave I've had some issue dragging and dropping multiple files as well as opening multiple files.

I do a lot of photography, and I often move multiple photos around (sometimes several hundred at a time) and I am now having issues. If I select multiple files 50+ and try and drag them from one folder to another, or drag them to the trash I get a lot of hesitation and get the spinning wheel. Sometimes it will eventually move the files, sometimes after the wheel has stopped spinning the files haven't moved and I have to repeat the process. Any idea why this is and how to solve it?

Also, if I try and open multiple files, such as photos for viewing, I get a finder window open saying "are you sure you want to open 'XX' files", any idea how to turn this 'warning' off?

Sometimes, the better way is to move things "in smaller chunks".

When doing a finder copy, if the finder tries to copy a corrupted file -- the entire copy just "fails".

My -guess- (and it's ONLY "a guess") is that if you try to copy a large number of files -- and if there happens to be something wrong with JUST ONE of the files to be copied -- the finder is discovering "the corruption" and terminating the entire "copy".

Again, try smaller numbers of files and see how that goes.

Thanks for the reply. Whilst I can do that, ie move less files at a time, it's not ideal sometimes. For example, if I'm wanting to move say 2000 files to the trash it can be time consuming moving 30 at a time. Also, I never had an issue with previous OS's.

I forgot to mention in the initial thread that I'm running a 2017 15" MBP Touch Bar with 2.9GHz i7, 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD.
