Digital AV adapter with lightning to 30-pin

I have a digital AV adapter I used to use with my iPad 3, hooking it up to my tv with an hdmi cable. Can I get the lightning to 30pin adapter, connect that to my iPhone 5, and connect that adapter to my digital AV adapter, so I can hook up my iPhone 5 to my tv?

In summary: adapters, adapters, adapters?

I don't know that anyone has tried that yet, so it'd be worth a look. I'd be surprised if a video signal made it through all the adapters, though.

Just tried it just for the sake of saying I tried it cause you never know and the iPhone 5 said this accessory is not supported by the iPhone message. And tested with an app to confirm.
