Digital Camera Advice - Canon ZR45MC ??

So here it goes.

I have a digital camera. I Love it. I Want More. I now have a sony DSC-F505 and it kicks.. just doesn't do video.

I have heard a lot about the Canon ZR45MC and I wan't something that can replace the Sony... I think half of macrumors.com has one of these cameras...

Here is where you come in. How is the quality? How do the still images compare to pure still cameras? Any other cameras in the same price range you would recommend?

Still Camera versus Camcorder pics

How do the still images compare to pure still cameras?

about the same as Hell against Heaven !

I have the Canon MV430i Camcorder and its still pics SUCKS !
The movie quality is ok.

do never buy a low range camcorder with the intention to use it for still pics.
Maybe a pro-camcorder can deliver.

I just bought the Fuji S602 zoom digital still camera and that one rocks...although much more difficult and sensitive to handle then the 4900 zoom
I bought before (and still have)

The S602 can even do video with sound up to 15 min. (depends on the chip you use)
