I need help hooking my new JVC GR-DV900 into iMovie HD when I try I get the message no cameras attached can someone tech savy walk me through it pls

According to Apple (www.apple.com/macosx/upgrade/camcorders.html), your camera is not supported. They suggest you call JVC. You can try Apple Care, if you have it, or www.apple.com/support/imovie/
