Apple has released Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 2.1.

This update extends RAW file compatibility for Aperture 2 and iPhoto ’08 for the following cameras:

Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi/Kiss Digital x2/450D
Epson R-D1
Leaf AFi 7
Leaf AFi 6
Leaf AFi 5
Pentax K200D
Pentax K20D

Why not simply upgrade? 2 is noticeably better than 1.0 and 1.5.

I’m waiting for E-420 support too... yep, that is pants.

One reason why Aperture 2.0 is completely off my shopping list.

It's another hundred bucks I didn't want to have to spend.

Backporting the support wouldn't have been that difficult. It's just a $ grab.

2.x is worth the upgrade price. IMHO. improvements across the board.

I never used Aperture 1 or 1.5, but now using Aperture 2, and my other photo editing software has gotten very, very lonely.
Apple developers - step up with support for the newer 4/3 line please!
