My Digital Crown stopped pushing in. If I keep pushing it'll take the input but isn't reliable. It happened literally overnight. Maybe I slept weird with it.

What's the best way to get this repaired? I have Apple Care+. I'm guessing my options are going to an Apple Store or sending it in. Would this need a deductible or covered for free? I'd be worried about sending it in and being told it's not covered or something.

This is on an SE2.

Did you clean it? Rinse under water and see if that helps

Seems you will be charged $69 U.S. for a refurbished replacement watch.

There shouldn't be any cost, unless it has accidental damage. This should be covered under the extended warranty provided by AppleCare+

Well it doesn't say anything about free so I suppose maybe someone who has actually had warranty work done that wasn't accidental damage can clarify. I had a battery service done under AppleCare+ and it was free but it specifically says battery services are free with AppleCare+

my SBSS S4's speaker got fainter and fainter over the course of some weeks or couple months, got a refurb under AC+ at no cost for me, express replacement.

Also,on my iPhone 13PM, faceid started failing on me, replaced under AC+ at no cost for me.

Neither of those cases was accidental damage.

The fee is for accidental damage. Any malfunction has no fee.

Just wanted to update this. Maybe it fixed it when I washed my hands but it's working fine now.

The battery is almost at 80% so I'll have it repaired for that soon.
