News from just a few hours ago today:

Digital Markets Act:
European lawmakers have agreed on new rules which they hope will curb the dominance of Big Tech companies.

So is this finally it?
This will be the moment in time, when, in years to come we will look back at this moment and say this is when it all finally changed from how it's been for the last 14 (ish) years?

Perhaps, and hopefully (depending on the initial mess it's bound to be for a while) we will all look back in years to come and think how we've all benefitted with the choice that will by then seem normal due to these imminent changes?

I know there will be a VERY VOCAL percentage who will initially protest against such changes, (like those who thought BIG phones were stupid in the past) who will in time also come to realise how they also will benefit as individuals.

Thoughts?
