Hi

I am wondering if there are any special monitors good for digital photography? That will give good natural colours and show high resolutions etc.

Are there are certain kind I should be searching for? Anything else I need to know about monitors for photography? Any help much appreciated, thanks.

See http://www.macworld.com/article/45798/2005/07/augustdigitalphoto.html for some background to get you started. I also suggest a web saerch for >> best monitors for digital photography << and you'll see several useful hints (some are pricy).

If your final product is viewed on the monitor, you can probably just calibrate the monitor and be done with it -- either using OS X built in calibrator or 3rd party tools (search for >> monitor calibration in os x <<). If you are going to print and want color fidelity, then some of those articles are worth a deeper look, in addition to getting a good color printer. Good luck.
