Digital Signage / Kiosk

I have a iMac G4 that I keep in my kitchen for cooking (Recipes and kitchen timer's ect)

I am looking for something for mac thats like Courtyard Hotel's "GoBoard"

I want to call this program Dashboard, but that wont help me.

I want something that I can run when not cooking, that just has news, email, weather ect.


Does anyone know anything out there for mac that does that?

Anyone seen that for Mac? I wrote the dev, they dont do anything on a home user level.

Couldn't you find widgets that do all that and activate dashboard when you want to see the info?
