Digital touch plays twice

On my watch, I see all Digital Touch events (touches, drawings, heartbeats) from my wife twice, with the pattern: AA, BB, CC, etc... (so not ABC, ABC). She receives my events once.

We have separate apple ids.

Is this a setting, or a bug? :)
