Digital voice recorder info

I'm interested in purchasing a digital voice recorder for using in college class so I can review lectures, etc....maybe even download to my iPod to help review notes, add to notes, etc. Not lots of money so I've been looking at an Olympus WS 110. Anyone know if this is Mac compatible or will I have to look for some software to make this usable with my Mac and do what I am wanting to do with it?

You might want to think about getting a recorder for your iPod.

recorder for iPod?

I am not familiar with what that would be. I was wanting something small that could fit in my pocket so it wouldn't be an ordeal to set up and record. What is a recorder for an iPod like and who makes them other than maybe Apple?
