Dilemma: Dell P2414H or BenQ BL2411PT?

The BL2411PT is little more expensive ($70 more) but has 16:10. For Dell P2414H (also Dell U2414H) there are complains about backlight bleeding. From this sentence it sounds like it is obvious which one to buy but I am not completely sure because there are more people who buy Dells so it is normal to have more complains. Also, I cannot find even one user who use the BL2411PT alongside Mac so any help will be appreciated. I will use it with Mac Mini 2012 (HD 4000 video card). That's my first Mini and the first monitor which I will use so I don't have any experience buying hardware for Mac.

P.S: They both do not have HDMI.

Did I ask my question in wrong way (I am newbie, sorry if that's the case) or the answer is just obvious or just there is no one having these models?

In either case, a simple HDMI -> DVI cord will do fine for hooking it up to the mini. Both monitors should be compatible with the mini, there is nothing unique about Dell monitors in that regard. So I guess pick whichever you like better. I'm a fan of Dell monitors personally, but I have a different models so my input really wouldn't count for much.
