Dim all Apps except for Active App?

I was just thinking it would be great to find an application or utility for OS X that could dim the desktop / other running Apps (if any) and just show the active Application in full 'brightness'.

Could help to concentrate on whatever I'm working on rather than letting my eyes wonder which, more often than not - causes me to loose focus what I'm really trying to work on.

Ive used a few of their games and theyre ridiculously buggy, also all stuff you can get on the web as flash. No added value. Now an app by the same people that modifies the OS? Not on my comp!
