I have multiple folders on my HD that have photos in them. Oftentimes, I want to sort by resolution (or image dimensions).
I discovered last night that there is only the option for a "Dimensions" column when you are in a folder called "Pictures". If you're in any other folder that is NOT called "Pictures", the option for the "dimensions" column is not there.
For example: I have a folder called "Downloads" that has a ton of images (and other things). I want to create a column in finder for "dimensions" so that I can sort by it. The OS won't let me since the folder that the files are in is not called "Pictures".
This seems ridiculous. Is there a way around this, short of renaming all of my folders to "Pictures"? It seems like there has to be a way...
