iPod touch Dimming Screen issue

Sometimes when i am playing a game that does not require touching the screen, the screen dims itself until i touch it again. Is there a way to prevent this? ive tried switching the auto-brightness between on and off but this does not seem to help the problem. Thanks

What are your current settings for Auto Lock?

Try turning it to Never, and see if the problem goes away.
