Direct deletion from SSD only (no moving to Trash)?

Guys,

I have an OCZ Vertex 3 installed on my iMac (for OS and Apps), but whenever I wish to delete an application from the main Apps folder, Lion tells me that I won't be able to undo that action (i.e., direct deletion with no "empty trash" routine necessary).

I was just wondering: is this standard for SSDs or is there any problem with my current setup?
