Directv update? Not true?

But that's what's I thought the update was for? Connecting it to the home network option was there but this update was gonna allow you to watch from anywhere you have access to wifi...

I interpreted the update at the bottom as basically saying the article was incorrect, i could be completely wrong, and hope i am. I see it says you can now access some content over cellular data.
I can't even check it, my DVR is waiting to be replaced so I'm without a networked receiver. If you find it does work update please.
 
I believe only some channels/shows for ON DEMAND are available outside of your home Wifi network. Most everything else (i.e. streaming live TV) you have to be at home.
