Is it possible to have my calendar on my ipod (synced from google), but not get any events or pop ups on the screen for event reminders? I want to have access to my calendar if I need it, but I don't want pop ups all the time.

I see that you can turn off the alert sounds (under settings --> general --> sounds), but I want to prevent the pop ups all together. I need to keep the alert pop ups within google calendar though since it also syncs with my Outlook at work.

Any way to do this?
