Is there any way to disable the curtain/rolling effect in iWork (kind of like the Genie minimize effect but for all dialogs!!! blech)... it's slow and unattractive... please tell me this isn't the new look of Leopard too :-(

That has been the standard dialog sheet in MacOSX since OS 10.0.

You can't disable it, but it can be sped up so that it isn't noticeable.

Put this line of code in the terminal and hit enter. Changing the number changes the speed.

honestly, I just noticed it... but i've only been using the mac for about three days.
