Disable dimming in Spotlight

Does anyone know how I can disable the background from dimming out the wallpaper whenever you go to Spotlight search?

I have been wondering if this is possible for a while, aswell. I'd greatly enjoy this, as the darkening process seems to be one of the only causes of choppiness / slowdown in normal iOS usage. We don't need no dimming spotlight!
