Disable DownloadComplete Window in Safari

Is there any plugin or app that will disable the downloads window from popping up, and will give me a sound notification when a download is complete? I know Saft can do that, but I'm looking for something that's free.
Thanks a lot, I appreciate the help.

P.S. I'm running 10.5.2
