Disable Facebook Calendar

Does anyone knowhowmto completely un associate Facebook with Calendar, because I want to have the integration without all of the birthdays in notification center. I've tried disabling Calendar acces and that's not working, could it be a glitch?

Settings > Facebook > Turn Calendar off

Go to the calendars app then the calendars button on the top left then just uncheck "Birthdays" and "Facebook Events" as you please! (Took me quite a while to find this) and you can do the same on your computer too!
