Is there a tweak that can disable Facebook messenger so I can use the built in messages function on the Facebook app? Maybe a flex tweak or something? Thank you!

I'm still using the built in Facebook messages and just updated it yesterday. I thought for sure messages would be gone after the update. It prompts me every time to install messenger... Once that happens I'll just delete Facebook#

Try this tweak

so this unlocks the messages tab on the fb app? is this how it works? If so I guess they will eliminate the tab itself sometime soon.

Yeah, my messages on the app got removed on Sunday and I tried this tweak and now my messages work. I'm guessing they won't though, seeing as how you can still receive message notifications.

I wonder how long this hack will last or work?
I know facebook keeps putting out updates and most likely this wont work with future updates.
Unless you decide to stick with an old facebook and never update it.
Its a real pain how you gotta install and open another app just to send and receive facebook messages. I dont get the point behind this change.
