You know how icons / folders / files on the desktop get their labels truncated if they are long. e.g. "This_is_a_really_long_file_name" becomes:

This_is_a_really
_long_..._name

Is there any way to turn this off the truncation feature so it *always* shows the full name/labels, even if it's a paragraph?

And, related, can you adjust the # of characters before it wraps to the next line?
