Disable Globe View in Apple Maps

Hi,

Is there any way to disable the globe view in the Maps app on Mac, and to revert to the good old Mercator projection? I hate this stupid gimmick. The strange way in which the map moves really annoys me.
I couldn't find any setting to this effect.
