Disable keyboard shortcut highlighting

Hi everyone, I have had this issue for a while and I have searched around but couldn't find an answer. Every time I use the keyboard shortcut to copy and paste, the edit "button" up on the menu bar will be highlighted in blue whenever I press command c or command v, I found it a little distracting. Is there any way to turn off the blue highlighting? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
