Disable or skip disk check during migration assistant

Anyone know of a way to have migration assistant skip or set to disable disk space check before migrating?

I would like to use symbolic links for music/pictures/etc BEFORE migrating from mechanical to SSD ( less space on ssd than used on mechanical), so media migrates automagically to secondary larger mechanical in my MBP where all my media will be stored instead.

I know I can do it manually but trying a different and perhaps easier approach here, simple one step..
