Disable PCIe cards under OSX?

I dual boot with Bootcamp (XP Pro SP2) and I have 2 PCIe cards that I use only under Windows. OSX does recognize it as an Unknown device...but, because of these cards, OSX cannot go to sleep. In the manual for these cards, it states that your computer cannot go to sleep when these cards are in place...so is there a way to disable these cards under OSX but have them work fine under Windows? I don't care about Windows and sleep mode, just OSX and sleep mode.
