Disable Play shortcut iPhoto

I had a little look around the internet and couldn't find anything...

Basically, whenever iTunes is open, and I've obviously listening to music using the Keyboard shortcuts works fine.
When iPhoto is open and I try to pause iTunes, it tries to start a slideshow of pictures.

Is there a way to disable the shortcuts with iPhoto?
