disable read receipts in imessage

Hello everybody,

i have a question about the read receipts. I know how to disable sending those receipts, but i wonder, if there is a possibility to not get any read receipts.

i know you probably won't see the advantage, but i just don't want to know if the other person has read my message or not. so, does anybody know how to disable getting read receipts, with or without jailbreak?

The recipient controls the READ function. Can't be blocked.

The only way is to turn off iMessage, and send everything as SMS/MMS.
