EDIT: SORRY THIS IS NOW FIXED.

If anyone is interested - If you open up /library/Mobilesubstrate/DynamicLibraries and rename your add on from x.dylib to x.disabled and respring this will do it, which is what i did with sbsettings. a respring later and im back up and running and tested my webclips which now work! so i went back and re-enabled sbsettings and resprung once more, and web clips are still working!

Not sure if something either installing or uninstalling screwed it up in the first place, but the bug survived about 5 re-springs and 3 reboots

Hi,

At some point in the last week or so my web clips (url shortcuts on homescreen) have stopped functioning, if you press them they highlight but just dont ever load.

Suspecting a recent package had done it I removed MultiIconMover (which was the last thing i remember installing before it broke) but this didnt fix it, I then disabled all the mobilesubstrate addons via sbsettings and still no go.

Which brings me to sbsettings being the only one left, is there a way i can stop it from starting on startup to see if this affects things?

Running the latest release of sbsettings.

Also something which may help, when running in safe mode (last time i rebooted it went into safe mode for some reason) the web clips work, so something is definatly fishy. I would normally have used the Swapmode app, however this removed itself the other day when upgrading one of the big packages like libhide and backgrounder or something so guessing theres an incompatibility.

Any help would be great

Thanks
