Is there any way to stop Safari from performing a page down scroll when you press the space bar? There's a couple of Javascript games I like to play and I'm having to use Firefox to play then in because whenver I press the space bar the game scrolls away.

I've not been able to stop this. It is very annoying. I don't know anyone that intentionally uses the space bar to scroll down in safari.

Hi, my name is Interrobang, and I use the spacebar to page down sometimes.

Not a lot, but some of the time, since it's right there under my thumb, and the page-down keys require some gymnastics on a laptop.

Pleasure to meet you, by the way.

Anyone figured this out yet?

Many other browsers allow a scrips or extention to remove this functionality, but I have not found a way to remove this on safari.

Why did they duplicate the functionality of "page down" with no way to disable the redundancy for those that dislike this action?
