disable txt messages from appearing on screen

Hey guys, is there a way I can prevent incoming SMS messages from appearing on the screen totally? I have snoopy people around me and dont need them seeing who im getting messages from?

I tried searching around a little and I read about iblacklist but does that stop them from appearing on the screen when phone is in hibernate or does that disable them altogether?

any other easy options?

Why don't you just turn the message preview off, and require a passcode upon unlocking? Do you mind if the "snoopy" people see who sends you a message?
To completely delete the notification, I believe you would need to SSH and modify a few .plists.
