Disable updates for a particular app?

Hi,

is it possible to somehow disable updates for a particular app? In MacOS prior to Mojave (or maybe HS), you could hide an app from your Purchased list and AFAIK this disabled updates for that app (I'm not sure though). I've got an app that I don't want to ever update and I'd like to hide it from the Update panel and notifications.

1. Turn OFF "automatic updates",
and then...
2. IGNORE that updates are available for the app in question.

When you hide an app on your Mac, you won't get update notifications for it, and you won't see it on the Account screen of the App Store on your Mac.
