Hello everyone I hope someone can help. I have been using an original iPhone for a number of years now with no problems at all. I would like to upgrade to a 3G or 3Gs. However, the home button is significantly stiffer on the 3G and 3Gs. It requires much more pressure to push the home button the it takes to push the home button on the original iPhone.

Because of my physical disability, I do not have enough strength in my fingers to push the home button on these new units. I'm looking for a solution to this problem. Does anyone know if it is possible to exchange the home button on a new 3Gs unit with the home button from the original iPhone. Or, does anyone know of any way to modify a 3Gs so that it requires less force to push the home button?

Any assistance or ideas that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. I really want to upgrade but unfortunately it seems impossible right now. Thank you.
