I keep my 2018 MBA docked most the time.

I noticed that fairly regularly the mac will make a chime sound the same as the one iPhone makes when connected to charge via lighting cable.

It seems to happen when I get ~within bluetooth range of the machine. I can't find an option to disable it and it is pretty annoying, really.

I'm not sure, but I think it may have started after I enabled wireless connectivity between the mac and my iPhone for xcode builds.

I tried the solution IIT but it didn't have an immediate effect: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7770010

Anyone else notice this on the new air / figure out how to disable it?
