I've always had iTunes organize my music. I'm a real stickler for keeping everything neat, so having all my MP3 file names changed to "Artist Name - Song.mp3" and sorted into folders according to artist was a godsend.

However, I always take out information concerning album and album artist, so my files are always organized as iTunes->iTunes Music->Artist->"Unknown Album"->Song. It's always been a little bit of a bother, but now I have a PS3 and it's become a real annoyance.

When importing my music, I can have my entire (small) library of songs imported into a single 500-song folder. Or I can import my library sorted into a couple dozen folders by artist... but with an extra folder 'step' to click through whenever I play back music on my PS3.

Anyone have a solution, or maybe an applescript, that can fix this and change my file structure to iTunes->iTunes Music->Artist->Song?
