Hey All,
I use my MBP to store all my music, data files, etc. and access everything via the cloud on my MBA, this way I use little to no storage since it is the base model. I recently set up Mac Mail on the Air since it seems way more refined than it was back in the Leopard days, I have it syncing with my Gmail account via IMAP. I've noticed however that the Mail app is storing everything locally, currently occupying about 20GB of my disk space, is there any way to disable this local storage and use the mail app as strictly a viewer much like that of the Gmail website?
