Disabling "lost mode"

I haven't tried this yet - but there's a lot of information on how to put an AirTag in lost mode and then locate it but haven't been able to find anything on how to disable "lost mode" and put that AirTag back in normal operating behavior when it's ultimately returned to the owner (if it's ultimately returned to the owner).

Is it an easy process? Any caveats?

You just turn off lost mode. Couldn’t be any more simple.

You could’ve just tried it and saved yourself a lot of hassle
