One thing that really bugs me about AW, and I'm hoping this is user error, is that I will be sitting there and answering some text messages or other notifications on the phone -- then I'll get up and go do something else and notice there's the red dot for notifications on the watch. I swipe down and it's all the text messages I already read and replied to on the phone.

Isn't there a way to nuke the notifications for messages e.g. you've already read on the phone so it doesn't look like there's something new to check?

I don't think that there's an option for that, you can only disable or enable all of your notifications. But this is something I've been waiting for years from Apple. Not just with the Apple Watch, but also notifications received on Mac and iPad

I think notifications are per device and not synced. I agree it would be nice if I close a notification on my iPhone that it goes away on my Mac. It’s annoying to see those same text message notifications.
