Recently I have been having problems with carpal tunnel in my mousing hand. All the tasks that I use the computer for can be done via keyboard (no image editing, etc). Unfortunately I can't resist using the mouse because it makes things so much easier. Is there a way to disable the mouse in OS X? Thanks.

if its a corded mouse pull it out or if its wireless turn it off? i wouldnt bother trying to disable mice in OS X, youll probably have to hack a kext extension and screw the system up.

Thanks for the feedback. What I meant to ask was how to disable the trackpad (on a MacBook Pro), not so much the mouse.
