Disappearing emails?

I'm trying to send myself copies of pictures so I can open them on my PC. But, when I send them, it exits out of the mail app and goes to the home screen. Then, when I look in sent emails, the emails aren't there. WHAT"S GOING ON?!

Can't you just plug in the phone and access the pictures that way?

That aside, it sounds like your mail app is crashing. Try restarting the phone.
