Disappearing folders on iPhone 4

After spending HOURS organizing my apps into folders on my iPhone 4 & iTunes, I suddenly had all the folders disappear!

I synched sever times over the span of a week with no problems and then bam – no folders.

Has this happened to anyone else?

YEs the same thing has happened to me twice now. I would do a restated of my phone and that when it happens

Disappearing folders AND apps

YES! Happened twice now and both times when I updated apps in the App store. I don't want to ever update again. I was in Tahiti on very expensive wifi the first time. That was last week. That time it just took the apps out of the folders. This time it has made some I use all the time DISAPPEAR! This is awful. Anybody else have this happen?
