iPhone Disappearing icon for Contacts App

On my iPhone6, the icon for the Contacts ap has disappeared. The contacts file still exists - I can access it through the phone or through search. The icon hasn't doubled up in a folder with other icons and the desktop maintains a blank space where the Contact Ap should be. Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone have a solution? Thanks
