My boss is having an odd problem with disappearing icsons. On his home screen, he has the Facebook app... however, the blue "F" icon was not there. It was just a blank with the word Facebook floating at the bottom. Now, he could still hold down in the area and it would wiggle and let him move it to another page. Oddly enough, when he moved it to the second page, the icon appeared! Don't worry... problem is not solved. Then he flipped back to the original home screen and showed me that now his Yahoo Messenger icon was missing. Same deal all over again. Basically, no matter what, there is always ONE missing icon on his home screen. Help?!?!

I had this happen too. Was he jailbroken? I noticed it shortly after jailbreak. My feeling is that it was intelliscreen, although I am not sure. Shortly after that there was an update (actually updated a handful of cydia apps), and have had no issues since.
