Hey,

I was just doing some clearing up of my files on my Mac Mini, just files on my desktop etc, and files left over in my Home directory from uninstalled applications. Then, I closed finder for a bit, reopened it, and all that's in the side bar are Network, my drives, my home directory and applications. Music, pictures etc have all gone. I can access them through my home directory. I rebooted, and it's the same.

What's going on?

Thanks in advance

Go into Finder prefs / sidebar and check anything missing from there. Anything you still can't find after that can just be dragged into the sidebar from a finder window.

The reason why this happened? Probably a corrupt/damaged finder prefs file.
