A little background:
Two weeks ago a red line started appearing on the right side of my MBP display. It seemed to come and go pretty randomly, so I set up an appointment at the Genius Bar. The first thing they tested was my graphics card and unsurpisingly it showed that my 8600GT was going bad. The Genius said that was the cause of the red line, so I set up the repair and after about a week I got my MBP back with a new logic board.
Fast forward to this morning. I get to work and turn on my MBP to find the same red line back on my screen. I've made another appointment with the Genius Bar, but what can I expect? Does this sound like a graphics card issue or was that just coincidence? Anybody else had this problem? If it is the graphics card is it reasonable for me to ask for a replacement? Two graphics cards in two weeks seems a little excessive to me. Thanks for any input.
